This project holds an insight into the feelings and emotions I felt everyday as a teenager in denial of my sexuality. I wanted to explore ideas of frustration, obsession and shame.
People in the closet live in constant shame of who they are, being careful of what they say or how they act - in fear of being found out.
I share this documentation of personal images and self-portraits in hope to educate others with no understanding of the internal suffering I faced, and many others face right now. To the ones in the closet,
there is an outside.
Be kind and be yourself.
